Background:
Michelle is a Registered Nurse with clinical, education and research experience in critical care nursing, simulation and pedagogy. Her qualifications in science and education confer broader context for teaching and researching across nursing programs.
Michelle has authored over 30 publications relating to simulation in addition to editing a special issue for Collegian in 2012. She was one of 4 editors (and co-author of 4 chapters) in Healthcare simulation education: Evidence, theory and practice (John Wiley & Sons) as well as lead author for chapters in 2 other recent simulation texts.
International collaborations in research and simulation scholarship extend to the USA, South Korea, Singapore, New Zealand, China, Norway, Sweden and the UK.

Contributed to the Global Network for Simulation in Healthcare (GNSH)
